FORMER CHIEF JUSTICE SARATH N.SILVA YESTERDAY LAUNCHED A WEBSITE at the head office of the  The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) to post  an online petition demanding the release of retired Gen. Sarath Fonseka who, the petition says, was illegally arrested by the Military Police and is being arbitrarily detained without any charges.

The former Chief Justice put his signature on the website named www.freesarathfonseka.com yesterday to l after a short address to the gathering of party members.

Ms. Anoma Fonseka, Leader of the JVP Somawansa Amarasinghe, former Parliamentarian Arjuna Ranatunga and a large gathering were present.
